Our pub is located close to some of the best mountain bike trails in the Chilterns so why not use our car park as a base for a ride. Speen village has a number of active riders who regularly ride on Saturday and Sunday and know the local bridal paths very well.
Cycling enables you to explore the Chiltern Hills which are classed as an area of outstandng natural beauty with a mixture of woods, farmland and hills.
There are a wide variety of trails and local minor roads that cater for all types of cyclists from serious mountain bikers to road riders and families with children. There are many miles of local lanes and byways plus long sections of bridleways. Our ordance survey map in our bar can be used to plan your route if needed.
For leisurely off road cycling why not try the local Phoenix Trail that runs from nearby Princes Risborough to Thame. For more serious mountain bikers the Aston Hill Mountain Bike Area near Wendover features a mix of trails for mountain bikers of all ages and abilities and host national montain bike events.
